Attention (dog) Lovers! Is your Valentine spayed or neutered?

Is your Valentine's date Spayed or Neutered? Single animal lovers and their dogs are invited to "go for a ride in the car" this Valentine's Day for the Omni San Diego Hotel's annual "Yappy Hour" benefiting Helen Woodward Animal Center.

"Our dogs may be able to sniff out true love," says Helen Woodward Animal Center spokesman John Van Zante. "When a dog lover meets someone new the most important concern if whether or not your dog likes that person as much as they do (and vice versa.) Yappy Hour at the Omni San Diego Hotel cuts right to the chase! No bones about it!"

Van Zante points out that Valentine's Day can be depressing for some singles. "What better way to survive the day than to spend the evening meeting other available dog lovers and their 'best friends'? Even if you don't find someone special, you still go home with the love of your life!"

During the annual Valentine's Day "Yappy Hour", the Omni San Diego Hotel welcomes single pet owners and their dogs to meet on The Palm Terrace. (The terrace.not the Roof!) Human guests are treated to complimentary wine, cheese, and appetizers.

For dogs the "Cloud Star Buddy Bar" will feature four specialty cocktails:

Shot of Itty Bitty Buddy Biscuits Straight Up

Soft & Chewy Buddy Biscuit Martini Chilled with a Twist

Peanut Butter Buddy Biscuit High Ball

And the Top Shelf: XXL Buddy Biscuit (limited availability)

Each is designed by the Buddy Bartender to create kissable dog breath.

There is a $10 cover charge to attend this event from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Omni San Diego Hotel, located downtown at 675 L Street. Van Zante says, "The Omni will generously donate 100% of each admission fee to Helen Woodward Animal Center. Our sincere thanks to our animal loving friends at The Omni for extending a helping paw to single dog lovers on Valentine's Day."
