"Hats to Hooves" . Coming to a Runway Near You!

Rancho Santa Fe, CA - The horses, dogs, cats, and other critters at Helen Woodward Animal Center will have something to wag about when the Center "joins hooves" with the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club to present the "Hats to Hooves " Fashion Show on Friday, June 23. (The only fur featured during the show will be natural fur.still worn by the pet that grew it!)

The Fashion Show will be held at the Del Mar Country Club, 6001 Clubhouse Drive in Rancho Santa Fe on Friday, June 23 from 11am-3pm.

Renee Resko, Director of Development for Helen Woodward Animal Center says, "Proceeds from the 'Hats to Hooves' fashion show will support the services we provide for animals and people in-need. We're so happy to be working with our partners at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club."

Resko adds, "Special thanks to Christine Penrod and the Del Mar Country Club for hosting this event in their beautiful facility. We also thank Santaluz and Aston Martin of San Diego for their support and Sherry Kline, a member of Helen Woodward Animal Center's Board of Directors, for her work in coordinating this event."

Tickets to the "Hats to Hooves" Fashion Show on June 23 are $60 each or $500 for a table of ten. Admission includes a Champagne reception, the fashion show, a light, sit-down lunch, and a gift bag for each guest.

Models wearing the latest fashions from Gracie Boutique will walk the runway with dogs from Helen Woodward Animal Center's Pet Encounter Therapy and Education programs. Clothing and accessories will be available for purchase.
