Santaluz is going to the dogs!
Community to host dog adoption event on Saturday, September 16
Santaluz - Orphaned dogs in need of loving homes will "put their best paw forward" on Saturday, September 16 during a pet adoption event at Santaluz, an exclusive community nestled in the coastal hills of north San Diego County. From 10:00 AM to Noon residents of Santaluz and surrounding communities are invited to meet dogs available for adoption from Helen Woodward Animal Center.
In addition to meeting dogs in need of loving homes, families will find activities for children and information about humane education programs courtesy of Helen Woodward Animal Center's Education department. Each year HWAC's Education programs touch the lives of more than 20,000 children throughout San Diego County.
Guests attending the dog adoption event are encouraged to bring dog and cat food donations for Helen Woodward Animal Center's AniMeals program. AniMeals is a program that provides free food for 250 pets of homebound senior citizens each week.
