A World of Hope

Helen Woodward Animal Center is changing the world of animal welfare. Our on-site conferences and off-site seminars are teaching animal centers around the country and the world the business of saving lives. And our reach has now extended internationally. From Argentina to Australia, attendees have traveled to the Center to learn new ways of looking at the world of animal welfare.

Hilary SwankOur Home for the Holidays adoption program has grown from a local campaign to a world-wide adoption drive. More than 3,200 shelters in 17 countries now work together to find homes for orphaned animals, with over 2 million adoptions to date. Two-time Academy Award-winning actress Hilary Swank will join us as the 2009 ambassador when the drive kicks off in October.

Sharing our knowledge with other animal centers and pet rescue organizations means our mission of life extends beyond our 12 acres in Rancho Santa Fe to a truly global community. Please join us to help create a more humane world for animals because animals have no borders.
