We're talkin' about Walkin'!

Just pick 'em up and put 'em down....one paw in front of the other. Helen Woodward Animal Center's 15 th annual "People Pet Walk" steps off at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 29 th . It's a great "excuse" ... as if you really need an excuse ... to rise and shine on a Saturday morning and take a stroll with your furry best friend.

We've updated the name of this event to include both you and your pets. After all, we're traveling through life hand-in-paw, or hoof, or claw. For you snake lovers we're not sure what you're traveling hand-in-"what" with...but we still hope you'll come out and enjoy the fun with your scaled best buddy.

Right now is a great time to get started. And there are so many ways for you to support the people and animals that Helen Woodward Animal Center serves.

Ask your friends, family, and co-workers if they'll sponsor you and your pet.

Find out if your company will match your donation. Many businesses match the amount you raise for a worthy non-profit organization.

Form a "People Pet Walk" team from your family, friends, co-workers, or church group.
