In hockey, you either win or lose a game. For orphan pets, the stakes are high. Winning means a pet will be adopted, a true victory. Losing means a pet’s life may end. Millions of pets are losing their lives because they cannot find homes. On Remember Me Thursday®, and every day, let’s all join the team that encourages others to adopt their next pet.

Anže Kopitar is a professional ice hockey player, Olympian, two time Stanley cup winner, and the captain of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings. Anže and his wife Ines share a true love of pets, helped rescue dogs at the Olympics in Sochi, and are the proud guardians of their best furry friend, their dog Gustl.
