If you were an animal, during the winter…How far would you travel? How long would you sleep? Find out which animals travel, which animals hibernate, and which animals thrive in the coldest climates. Campers will meet: A dog, a turtle, a frog, a bunny, and a sheep.
WEDNESDAY, December 28th Frosty Dinner Delights!
Carnivores, herbivores, omnivores, oh my! Investigate the variety of diets in the animal kingdom, and decipher the difference between these critter cravings. Learn how they hunt in the coldest months and where they find these awesome “ eats”! Campers will meet: A cat, a cockroach, a parrot, a bearded dragon, and a hermit crab.
THURSDAY, December 29th It’s Snow Secret!
Learn about the different animal groups and discover what makes each family of animals unique and find out what they all have in common. Campers will meet: The walking sticks, a boa, a dog, a cockatiel, and a skink.
FRIDAY, December 30th The Great Ice-scape!
There’s more than meets the eye with these curious critters. Meet some interesting animals; learn about their adaptations how they help these amazing critters thrive in frigid temperatures! Campers will meet: A gecko, our Adoptions Department, a miniature horse, a tortoise, and a beta fish.
*Animal interaction is dependent upon animal health, on a day to day basis.
