July Construction Updates
We’re nearing mid-summer and the new building milestones keep coming! This month has brought a lot of noticeable changes both inside and out. From tar, to cranes, to cement, to dry wall, we’ve had a lot of additions added onto our Small Animal Hospital and Administration Building. Follow July’s journey with the pictures below.

From the end of June to middle July, the construction crew worked with roofing tar. This is a “tar pot” and the tar being used is a special tar that has a less stringent aroma. |

On July 2nd, a crane arrived at the Center and delivered roof “bumpers” to hold the air units on our new roof. |

The construction supervisor helped direct the crane operator over a hand held radio. Now that’s teamwork! |

The rotunda is now capped! |

On July 23rd, cement was poured for the dog kennels in the Small Animal Hospital. |

Dry wall is now being applied to the walls of the Administration Wing. |

Tiles were delivered the last week of July. Here they stand ready and stacked for final placement. Instead of raising the roof, we raise the “woof!” |
