February 23 – March 12, 2010:  Structural Steel

Late February marked the next phase of major construction for our new Center Building One. Steel beams that provide the structural support for the building were delivered and installed. With this new phase, we can begin to see the building take shape.  

The forklift and scissor lift working together on a radius beam that will support our rotunda. Imagine how beautiful it will look when it’s completed!

The scissor lift helps with the job when workers need to be lifted up to secure beams in place.  Here, columns and beams have been installed.

These anchor bolts will hold each beam in place.

Steel beams that will support the building are delivered. Radius beams are unloaded and placed on sticker.
