January-early February 2010: Pouring Concrete
Here concrete is poured during the first phase of the Center’s capital project. The old front lawn off of San Dieguito Road was transformed into a rebar maze after grading that will support the concrete and then our floor. Moving Administration and the Veterinary Hospital into this building, will allow us the ability to demolish existing structures where the new Adoptions and Club Pet building will be built in Phase 2.

Trucks arrive with concrete for the pour. Over 60 truckloads were delivered throughout the day. |
