Helen Woodward Animal Center’s
Campaign for Caring

As our Center continues to grow and succeed, the need to ensure that our facilities keep pace with our progressive ideas and with the community’s growing needs has become critical. Waiting lists grow and available space shrinks each year. The current infrastructure no longer meets the needs of our many programs and we have exceeded the capacity of the Center as it currently exists.

Our primary objectives for the Campaign for Caring are to expand existing structures or construct new buildings to enable us to deliver the highest level of care, to further enhance our programs, and to meet the needs of our community.

PHASE I of the Campaign was completed in April of 2011 and includes a new state-of-the-art Companion Animal Hospital and administrative offices for staff.

PHASE II of the Campaign is well underway and we expect to break ground in summer 2017! The project will include a complete rebuild of our aging Adoptions Center to meet the needs of our rapidly expanding program. Take a look at the latest architectural plans.
