Helen Woodward Animal Center’s Pet of the Week

Tiki is the Life of the Party!

Helen Woodward Animal Center Pet-of-the-Week for July 25, 2016

Break out the floral leis and Mai Tais because Tiki is ready to party! This 1-year-old kitty is sure to be your most popular party guest; she is incredibly friendly and stands up to greet everyone who walks by. As her name implies, Tiki also has a beachy vibe, very calm and relaxed for a cat her young age. But that’s not so say she doesn’t enjoy party games (especially if they involve her favorite toy: pipe cleaners!) This social butterfly is a total cutie, too, with the roundest face and the biggest eyes. Tiki is the “it girl” you’ll definitely want to meet.

Tiki is waiting to meet you at Helen Woodward Animal Center. She has been altered and is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $70. As with all pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center, she is micro-chipped for identification. As an added bonus, she also comes with two free passes to Sea World.

Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6461 El Apajo Road in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 6pm; Friday from 12pm to 7pm; Saturday 10am to 6pm; and Sunday 11am to 6pm (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing). Each week, we feature a great dog or cat looking for a new family they are called Helen Woodward Animal Center’s “Pet of the Week!” Our animals are transferred to us through a cat rescue or a dog rescue group that needs help, through an overcrowded animal shelter where they simply would have “run out of time,” or even through a surrender by a family or individual. Our Pet of the Week is always a beautiful and wonderful animal looking to be adopted into his or her new family.
